Dave Young

Helping churches enjoy God, share life, and bring hope:

The church is not called merely to survive difficult seasons. In Christ, the church is called to become a living witness to the gospel—a people formed by grace, united in love, and sent in mission.

My pastoral work is shaped by the conviction that God often does His deepest work in challenging seasons. When churches are willing to tell the truth, seek the Lord, renew their leadership, and recover their mission, they can experience profound transformation.

Whether through preaching, pastoral leadership, consulting, writing, or leadership development, my desire is to help churches become healthier communities of disciples who enjoy God, share life, and bring hope locally and globally.

Pastor, teacher, leader, and guide for churches in transition

Dave Young has served as a pastor since 1996 in churches across America and internationally. He holds degrees in Bible and Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry from George Fox Evangelical Seminary. His academic work focused on helping churches move from a consumer model of church toward missional thought, community, and practice.

Dave advocates for faithful change, deeper dependence on God, compelling biblical teaching, relationally focused community, and leadership cultures that embrace disciple-making.

Dave and his wife, Maryanne, were married at twenty and have walked together through the beauty and trials of church ministry. Their life and ministry have deepened their love for God, for one another, and for the local church.
